Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the Director of Real Estate Operations, assists the County Auditor to maintain property owner and personal property tax information, to assist in the proper valuation and transfer of all real and personal property in the County, to verify taxing district information, to assess any taxes due and payable, to assess any penalties and interest, to ensure accurate property and taxing information.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be the first person the public sees when they enter the office.
You will have courteous and effective oral and written communication and have the ability to pay attention to fine detail, read and understand real estate/legal documents, and follow detailed directions to process documents.
In addition to being a self-starter, you must be able to multitask and focus with confidence and proficiency.
The positon also includes data entry, monetary transactions, and customer service.
Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills with the ability to learn new and changing software programs specific to the position is essential.
A high school education or equivalent is required plus related work experience and/or specialized or technical training.
Must possess a valid Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record.
COMPENSATION:
This is an unclassified, hourly position.
A competitive salary is based upon qualifications and experience.
